We like our clients to be involved in planning their own trips, but we realise that sometimes time isn't available, or that you might like to leave things in the hands of local experts. Therefore we have designed a number of "a la carte" tours. |

Chenonceau & Montpoupon The tour takes in the classic renaissance château of Chenonceau and the smaller, family owned Montpoupon. We also find time to stop along the way for photos and visit a winery. A leisurely lunch is taken at a "working mans" restaurant. This tour is available every day except weekends. |
Valençay One for the car lovers, this tour visits the château and car museum at Valençay. We also stop at a winery and a cheese maker, and have a long leisurely lunch which includes both of these local products. A new tour for 2011, we expect this to be very popular. Only available from mid March to mid November. |

Azay le Rideau and Villandry: the garden of France We start the day driving through Balzac's "garden of France" to the château of Azay le Rideau, a fairytale château set in the Indre river. After a relaxed lunch we visit the world famous gardens of Villandry. The day finishes at a wine cave in Vouvray, famous for its sparkling and still white wines. |
The Friday Mystery Tour: New for 2011 On this tour we visit two châteaux near the city of Tours. One chateau has links to the biggest scandal of the 1930s, whilst the other was the home of the greatest of all French renaissance poets. Along the way we will see three of the major rivers of the Loire basin: the Loire the Cher and the Indre. We also have time for a leisurely lunch. |
